After Meltdown and Specter, public cloud operators patch their systems

The 'Meltdown' attack targeting the Intel chips and the Specter processor flow revealed an additional vulnerability in the cloud: it allowed customers on the same platform to access each other's data. In light of this, major public cloud computing operators, including Amazon, Microsoft and Google, started patching their data center infrastructure.
