Australian Federal Police (AFP) have pointed to a new trend of online child sexual predators offering children financial incentives in the form of vouchers, food coupons and money for self producing child exploitation material (CAM). Children aged 10 years are being targeted with incentives such as in-game currency on popular online games.
Looking at the increase in self produced CAM online, the AFP has advised parents and guardians to be alert and have open conversations with children in a non judgemental way on what they do online
