During a speech at New America, UK Home Secretary Amber Ruddurged social media companies to operate artificial intelligence systems to detect and remove extremist content within two hours. She warned about an 'online arms race' between militants and law enforcement. She also revealed that she visited tech companies earlier this year to discuss the takedown of militant content.
