The Chinese Internet regulator the Cyberspace Administration of China, has released a statement that it would inspect the algorithm on large websites and platforms over their influence or harm on people especially children. However the statement has not mentioned which companies will be targeted.
The regulator wants big tech companies to submit their algorithms for review to prevent abuse or online harm.
