Deutsche Bank has developed a carbon dioxide (CO2) consumption app called 'GreenR'. Created as part of the bank's intrapreneur initiative, the app tracks clients' CO2 footprint and helps them save money by raising awareness on their behaviour. In other words, the application converts the bank transactions conducted over a specific period of time into CO2 consumption and on the basis of the derived information provides suggestions on how to alter one's shopping habits and preferences.
