The European Union and the US have launched the Joint Technology Competition Policy Dialogue (TCPD), to develop common approaches and strengthen the cooperation on competition policy and enforcement in the technology sector.
In its inaugural statement, the European Commission, the United States Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the United States Federal Trade Commission reaffirmed their mutual interest in cooperating on competition policy and enforcement that will include sharing insights and experience and exploring new ways to ensure that enforcement authorities are sufficiently equipped to address new challenges in the tech sector.
