New data breach in Indian Aadhaar system

As reported byTechCrunch, a new data breach resulted in the leaking of more than 160 000 Aadhaar numbers. Aadhaar identification numbers have become fundamental for Indian citizens for accessing basic services or to make online payments. This new data breach follows a series of significant leaks which have affected this system since its introduction.
