Online support for offline disabilities

In December, supporting the rights of persons with disabilities, Google Maps added a function in its Amenities section to allow contributors to inform accessibility details for specific locations. However, months later, that was still not working as well as planned, so Google has added support for this crowdsourcing initiative, as explained in Building a map for everyone.  ATTN: notes that this move improves online support for persons with disabilities in the physical world.
