Study shows that companies plan to invest more in cloud computing than in physical infrastructures

Astudy carried out by 451 Research and commissioned by Microsoft shows that companies are increasingly switching from physical infrastructures to cloud infrastructures. According to the study, in two years, 57% of organisational infrastructure will be digital, compared with physical, up from 51% today. In addition, 95% of customers intend to renew their contract with their primary cloud and hosting provider, indicating a high degree of loyalty despite the inherent flexibility of the cloud model.
