Twitter recommends its users to change passwords

Le 03 mai 2023 Hi-network.com
Twitter has reported a bug which allowed some passwords to be stored on its internal server  in an unencrypted form. According to an official Twitter tweet, a bug has been fixed, and there are no indications about possible misuse or breach. Nevertheless, as a precaution measure it advised the users to change their password on all services where they have used it, and to activate two-factor authentication. According to Reuters sources, the number of temporarily readable passwords was "substantial" and they were exposed for "several months", yet Twitter declined to comment on when the bug was discovered, how long it had been storing passwords in this manner and how many passwords were affected.
