Uber and Lyft are suspending the pool ride feature, which offers riders to share the car with other passengers heading in the same direction. The measure applies to the US, Canada, London and Paris. Uber affirms to be committed to helping flatten the curve of coronavirus spread in the cities it operates. It discourages non-essential rides by sending a message through the app notifying riders to "travel only when necessary".
