Suffolk Superior Court (Massachusetts) investigating Facebook's privacy practices has ordered Facebook to disclose information about thousands of apps. Until now, Facebook has refused to turn over information about specific apps, groups of apps, and developers that the platform has flagged as potentially problematic or worthy of further examination or that may have misused customer data, including the identities of the developers. Facebook is looking to appeal this order.
