Google is extending the 'right to be forgotten' rule to its global sites accessed within Europe, as of mid-February, the BBC has learned. The company will implement the rule based on the filtering of European IP addresses, in that users in the EU will be unable to see the omitted search results. Users outside European countries will however still be able to see the unedited results.
