This year Twitter began showing a warning if a user tried to retweet a tweet that had been labeled for potentially including false or misleading information. The company announced on Monday that they are now planning to expand the warning feature for cases when users try to like a labeled tweet. The functionality is already working on the web and iOS globally this week, and it will come to Android in the coming weeks. The warning label has decreased the number of tweets of misleading information by 29 percent, the company said.
