Two California residents have been charged for allegedly creating and sharing child sexual material through the private "child pornography group" they ran on Kik messenger. The prosecutors have revealed that anyone interested to join the group would have to send CSAM through Kik direct messages to gain access to the group. On receiving the images and videos, the defendants would determine whether to allow or not allow the person to become a member.
