The website of the Swedish Parliament was hit by a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack that left the parliament's website inaccessible. Acknowledging the DDos attack, a spokesperson of the Parliament shared, 'Right now the web page can be slow and it can be difficult to watch our web casts.' While work to restore the website is ongoing, no timeline was shared for when it would be fully functional.
Previously, authorities have issued warnings that Swedish interests may face increased cyberattacks since Sweden has applied for NATO membership and that the Swedish Prime Minister, along with other Nordic leaders, is expected to meet the Ukrainian President in Finland this week.
