Airbnb has suspended check-ins at all properties located in Beijing from 7 February 2020 to 29 February 2020, according to Bloomberg. The measure complies with local regulation intended to contain the coronavirus outbreak in China. Airbnb announced that it will refund and support guests who had cancelled reservations. Searching for any accommodation in China brings up a message about the epidemic inside the Airbnb app. The local competitor Xiaozhu will also cancel all rentals in Beijing during the same period of time.
