Broadband Internet is considered universal service in Slovenia

Slovenia's telecoms regulator, the Agency for Communications Networks & Services (Agencija za komunikacijska omrezja in storitve, AKOS), said that broadband internet access will be included under the country's universal service regime. Operators providing universal service will have to ensure download speeds of 4 megabits per second at minimum for every user, even when that is not profitable.
