Facebook publishes Global Government Request Report

Facebook has published a new edition of the Global Government Requests Report, in which it provides transparency about the number of government requests to Facebook related to obtaining user data, restricting content, national security and violations of local law during the second half of 2015. The report shows an overall global increase in government requests. Most requests for user data were made by the USA (19235), India (5561) and the UK (4190), while France (37695), India (14971) and Turkey (2078) made most requests for content restrictions.
