Facebook announced it will label misinformation about the climate crisis as part of a small trial in the UK. Facebook will add labels to certain posts that will send users to Facebook's Climate Science Information Center, a page full of fact-checked and relevant information. The process of labelling third-party posts will be algorithm based and similar to what was used in the US presidential elections, according to theGuardian.
