According to the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), the Italian data protection authority (DPA) issued two fines for violations of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The DPA fined a hospital 80,000 euros for illegally processing the personal data of job applicants, and another company 60,000 euros for accidentally leaking the information of users.
