Morocco lifts the ban on VoIP services

The Telecommunications Regulatory National Agency (ANRT) in Moroccohas decided to lift the bad it had previously imposed on Voice over Internet (VoIP) services. As explained by Fortune, the ban was applied to the country's three mobile operators who offered mobile Internet access, with the authority motivating at that thine that VoIP services needed to be licensed. ANRT said that its recent decision  is based on an evaluation of the telecom national and international market, the legal context, and the overall implications for consumers.
