The government of Libya seeks to revamp the information and communication technology (ICT) sector in the aftermath of the internal conflict. To this aim, the ICT ministries of Libya and Egypt unveiled cooperation in the ICT and postal sectors where joint working groups will be established to scope potential cooperation projects in these areas. The cooperation will focus on different areas including digital infrastructure, digital transformation, postal services, capacity building, and the legal framework of the ICT sector. In the same vein, Egypt will support Libya to provide good quality telecom services to its citizens and to improve the return of investment on the ICT sector aiming at promoting foreign investment.
