In order to drive research on and development of inclusive digital technologies forward, GSMA launched its Inclusive Tech Lab. The Lab's activities will centre around openness and interoperability of payment systems, service accessibility and digital identities, in particular, for the vulnerable and marginalised populations. Aside from provision of usable products, the Lab will also deliver learnings and solutions to the broader industry.
The Inclusive Tech Lab will be funded by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
