Leaked European Commission proposal presents quota rules for European TV content

The British newspaper Daily Mail has released a leaked proposal from the European Commission to create quota rules to ensure that 20% of films and TV shows is European. This might force companies as Netflix and Amazon to make European films and TV shows. Furthermore, US companies could be hit with additional taxes to raise funds for European film-makers.
