In the UK, the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which comes into force on 1 October, will give online shoppers more rights, such as a longer time-period for returning goods. It will also set out procedures for the replacement of faulty digital content, such as music downloads and e-books. In addition, Alternative Dispute Resolution measures are also being implemented in line with EU rules.
